Gradient Tiger Stamping!

Hey girls!

I wanted to paint my nails for an interview I was going to have and I asked my Honey if he has any ideas in mind and he drew me a design to do :)

Unfortunately, I was asked to not wear nail polish a day before the interview so the idea wasn't used...that is until now!

I decided to do the gradient/ombre design but on top instead of the palm tree's I did some stamping 'coz im just a lazy mofo!

Here is his AWESOME drawing :)

Using this idea I created the gradient/ombre....LOOOOKIE!

I did use a base coat of white and then used a sponge to stamp the colours on!

I used the tiger stamping plate with black nail polish and here is the amazingness achieved!

I really love how this turned out :D

Henna Inspired Nail Art!

Hey girls!

Today I have a manicure I did a few days ago inspired by the henna design I got done at a charity event! I love how it turned out....but the girl that did it was so annoying that she deserves to be bitten :P muahaha

The design is pretty simple and but quite elegant and pretty!

I was inspired by this and decided to "ATTEMPT" it on my nails...didn't turn out that great but hey ho...its something RIGHT?!

Sea Siren Tiger Stripes!

Ask a British Nail Blogger - Oldest Polish!

Hey!

Time for another ask a British nail blogger!

This weeks post is all about what your oldest nail polish is in your collection!

I actually remember the first nail polish I bought to persuade myself to stop biting my nails, I wore this nail polish all the time and after a year or so I still have this baby with me!

The nail polish isn't expensive at all, only costed me a pound. Most of you recognize this brand L.A Colors and the shade is Sea Siren!

I have a swatch for you :)

I absolutely love this colour, I wore it all the time. It has been neglected for a long while now and I'm glad that I got a chance to take it out and use it :)

Who knew, I'm a green addict but the first colour I bought was blue and I still have a soft spot for the colour!

This is so simple to achieve even I could do it free hand! I wanted to do this design in green but changed my mind last minute to do it in a pinky tone!

A Fairy Teal'd Stripe!

Hey!

I've had this lovely teal colour by Sally Hansen for a while now, I think its called "A Fairy Teal" I lost the sticker! soooo I put it onto my nails the other day and realized how beautiful it is! Such a lovely colour that I will do a swatch of it soon!

To snazz up the colour I asked my friend Kristina is she had any ideas what I could do on top of it and she said that it would look nice with white stripes. Pretty simple and do-able on a lazy day!

After I did it I was sat staring at my nails thinking "this reminds me of something...hmmmm....AH! The boy in the striped pajamas!!" Both combinations reminded me of the movie and the book :)

Here it is!

I did the stripes free hand even though I remembered I have a white striper....I am really forgetful!

Jewelry ~ My Favorite Necklace!

Retro Time Again!

Hey!

I've had these pictures in my 'TO EDIT' folder and I don't really like how the design turned out. Since this is a nail blog I guess I can share my fails too right? no one judge me or else I'll release the crazy cute pandas on you :)

I decided to do the retro design i've been doing using the satin finish polishes by NYC and I don't think it turned out good at all! And I may have ruined it by adding the green dots but I couldn't resist not putting them in!

They're somewhat good but still a fail I think!

Feeling Panda-ish!

Hey!

Today I have just something I quickly did int less than 10 minutes and you can totally tell it was quick by the streaking from the bloody top coat!

I decided to paint some panda's on my nails, a friend suggested....so I did it!

Ignore the eyes, they look evil!! :D

I gave them different colour ears! yay! haha...can you see that terrible streaking on my middle finger??

Feeling Greeny!

Hey Hey,

I've been feeling greeny and to fill this greeny feeling I've painted my nails with a lovely green base colour High Line Green - NYC then put Orly's (I forgot the name!)

This is on my left hand so it's obviously a simple design since im crap at using my right hand. I am a lefty after all!

Loosing A Bet - American Flag Nails!

Hey girls,

Recently I lost a bet with Mr Dork and I had to paint my nails with the American Flag....luckily Its not something hard, challenging or embarrassing :P

Bleh...I have to do my toes as well, but for now I don't plan on doing them due to twisting my ankle :( I may use this as an excuse to never paint my toes hahaha!

I followed a tutorial by Lisa from Nail Art 101 thank goodness for her easy design!

Here it is!

I did dots for the starts because it would be practically impossible for me to do stars in such a small space!

Tri-Polish Challenge May #1 - Retro Flowers (Again)!!

Hey girls,

This month I decided to join the Crumpets Tri-Polish nail art challenge, where three colours are chosen and used to create 4 different manicures (black and white can be used!) within the month!

This month the tree colours are blue, red and grey!

I decided to do the Retro Flower design (HERE) I did a few days ago using these colours!

Here it is!

Super duper simple but really nice! I personally think this design is much better with brighter colours!
